Seller Guide

Thank you for your interest in selling on MarkovaX. This guide will help you get started and succeed as a seller on our platform.
1. Getting started
Step 1: Register as a seller
Visit our "Sell with us" page and complete the seller registration form. You'll need to provide your business details and contact information.
Step 2: Complete vendor onboarding
Set up your seller account and connect your Stripe account for payments. This process ensures secure, reliable payouts for your sales.
Step 3: Accept the Vendor Agreement
Review and accept our Markovax Vendor Agreement. This outlines the terms of selling on our platform and your responsibilities as a seller.
2. Listing products
Once your account is approved, you can start listing products. Here's what to include:
- Product name: Clear, descriptive, and searchable
- Description: Detailed information about the product, materials, size, etc.
- Price: Competitive and transparent (in USD)
- Images: High-quality photos (at least 3)
- Category: Choose the most relevant category
3. Pricing and commissions
Commission rates vary by product category. You'll find your specific commission rate in your seller dashboard. Prices are charged and paid in USD (United States dollars).
4. Fulfilling orders
When a customer orders your product:
- You'll be notified immediately in your seller dashboard
- Pick and pack the order carefully
- Ship within the timeframe you've committed to
- Provide tracking information to the customer
- Communicate professionally if there are any issues
5. Customer communication
Professional, timely communication is key to success. Respond to customer enquiries within 24 hours when possible. Be helpful and courteous, even if a customer is unhappy.
6. Quality standards
We care about quality. Maintain high standards for:
- Product condition and functionality
- Accurate product descriptions
- Fast, reliable shipping
- Professional customer service
7. Prohibited items
You cannot list certain items on MarkovaX. Please review our Prohibited Items Policy to see what's not allowed. Violating this policy may result in account suspension.
8. Payments and payouts
Your earnings are paid out through Stripe Connect to your connected bank account. Payouts typically occur weekly. Commissions are deducted from your sales before payout.
9. Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate seller accounts that:
- Violate the Vendor Agreement
- List prohibited items
- Engage in fraud or deception
- Receive multiple customer complaints
